I take one glimpse into those eyes and get lost
How I'm hoping to know what true love will cost
What I feel inside I must say I can not deny
The feeling of love I know I won't ask why
I want you to be in my arm and by my side
The power of my loves shines through my pride
To hear you laugh is like a silent thunder
it is breath taking and comes from asunder
I won't forget how your heart beat against mine
The rhythm of your heart almost stopped time
My soul most certainly stopped to look around
Just to make sure my heart was making a sound
This poem comes from my heart and I never asked why
